Greetings Androidians! This is an unofficial CyanogenMod ROM – CM10.1 – for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ (original). P1000, P1000N, P1000L, P1000CDMA, P1000T? P1000R? This is a download page to help CM10.1 enthusiasts. These are my own builds, from the original sgt7 repository with OpenPDroid. The sgt7 repo is the original Te4m repo in the development thread with extra tweaks on top of CyanogenMod, such as the Trebuchet, system, settings and kernel tweaks by sbradymobile and humberos.

GApps: Use the recomended package for Android 4.2.2 / CM 10.1 Modem CwM flash updates for CM9/CM10/CM10.1 MTD ROMs, by cdesai. You can also just copy modem.bin to /radio. PDroid Privacy Protection CwM Patch for CM10.1 Android 4.2.2.
- Works on latest CM10.1 official, @cdesai, @humberos and @alroger builds.
- The app to be used is PDroidManager now. It can be found in the Market but it is already inclued in the Install ZIP.

Kernels
- Kernels for p1 and p1ln included in the same automated ZIP. CDMA has it’s own ZIP.
- Use boot.img, boot_p1ln.img inside the ROM ZIP if you want to try other CM10.1 builds, like the CyanogenMod official and AOKP. Android 4.2.2! Kernel 3.0!
- Flash with heimdall like this:
- Press Power + VolDown untill you get the Download screen or PC <–> Tab screen.
- heimdall flash –kernel boot.img –recovery boot.img
- Or just replace boot.img inside the ROM ZIP with your desired kernel.
heimdall flash --kernel boot.img --recovery boot.img
ATENTION: I assume you are following the CM10.1 conversations in the XDA threads. Make sure you have the required flashing background / skills. In sum, if not already in CM10 / CM10.1:
- Must be on Gingerbread or newer with unlocked bootloaders.
- Must have CwM Recovery.
The Overcome guide is a good start before anything. Easy restock from Gingerbread, in case you get any strange simptoms.
- Flash full stock Gingerbread (with repartition) via ODIN.
- Flash the Kernel included in the CM10.1 ZIP for your model (boot_p1n.img for P1000N for example), using the heimdall command above.
- Boot directly into CwM Recovery, holding Power + VolUp.
- Flash CM10.1 ROM, if it reboots by itself repeat the step above.
- If you want PDroid, flash PDroid Patches.
- If you want Google’s stuff, flash latest GApps for Android 4.2.2.
- Only Reboot after everything.
Troubleshooting
- Mobile, Data, 3G problems? This ROM comes with the JPZ modem. You might need to flash your customary modem back. Just copy your modem.bin to
/radio in the Tab. - Wrong MAC? Wrong IMEI? Try restoring files from /sdcard/backup/efs*/* to /efs/. If you don’t have a backup, then start over with FULL Restock, and next time save your backup/efs folders, which are created everytime you install CM10.1.
- Market problems? Clear Google Services Framework data and reboot.
- Multiple users is NOT supported by the OpenPDroid Patches.
- Developer options: can’t find it? It’s hidden! Tap About tablet / Build number 7 times to unlock it.
- No touch? That means you got the wrong kernel installed. A couple of builds had problems identifying the exact model. Just flash your kernel through recovery or heimdall / odin.
- No boot? Stuck at the SAMSUNG logo? Flash the correct kernel using Download Mode using heimdall!
- Deep Sleep not kicking in? Try wiping cLock’s data or freezing / removing it (com.cyanogenmod.lockclock).

maio 23rd, 2013 at 8:50 pmAlroger, tinha aqui um backup da rom do dia 12/11/2012 do Borba, então resolvi restaurar para ver se funcionava o USB Host, e adivinhe, funcionou!
Algumas coisas que observei:
Quando se inicia o USB Host Controller ele está por default em modo Client, trocando para modo Host nada aconteceu, não reconheceu o pen drive, trocando para modo OTG também não reconheceu, trocando novamente para Host reconheceu!!! Acho que é um bug, ele nunca funciona na primeira vez que se troca para modo Host.
A segunda coisa foi que não funcionou dispositivos USB 1.1, como teclado e mouse, fiquei meio frustrado pois ler pen drive não me interessava tanto assim, queria mesmo usar teclado e mouse no tab, mas quem sabe daqui a um tempo não funcione…
Estou usando um cabo Y de HD externo com dois adaptadores USB fêmea-fêmea.

Nao conheco TMN.
A ultima versao aqui esta otima… só tem 2 opcoes.. P1000 GSM (P1000, P1000N, P1000L) e P1000 CDMA. Ambos os links funcionando normalmente aqui.
A questao da operadora é relacionado ao Modem usado. Anote todas as informacoes do “Sobre” de seu aparelho, as versoes, etc… faca backup de tudo, inclusive IMEI e seu Modem.
KIES funciona apenas com ROM Samsung… Essa ROM é Android OpenSource (AOSP).
Estude bem como fazer flash, como fazer NANDROID backup, verificar se seu bootloader é bloqueado, etc… siga os links, comentarios e dicas. O artigo acima é voltado para quem ja tem experiencia com isso.

I have installed your latest ROM CM10.1 with latest humberos kernel, i have experience a bug in which i can’t charge if i connect the charger while the tablet is power on. I need to reboot the tablet (while charger is connected) before i can charge my tablet. Do you experience this?? Thanks.

junho 1st, 2013 at 4:40 pmCara, estou tentando atualizar o p1000n da minha esposa, mas infelizmente não estou tendo sucesso.
Atualizei para o cdesai’s ClockworkMod Recovery (passos de 1 a 8: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_p1n).
Porém não estou conseguindo dar o wipe pois o sistema de arquivos não é reconhecido:
E:format_volume make_extf4fs falied on /dev/bloc/st*
Bom, forcei a instalação mesmo assim, usando a firmware disponibilizada aqui, mas após 20 min ela continua empacada com a barra de progresso por volta de 75%.
Faz ideia do que pode ser?
(em tempo é a segunda vez que passo por isso, para recuperar o dispositivo usei esse tutorial:

– front camera does take pics, but doesn’t save properly (taken with picsart from play store).
– rotation sometimes hangs, (warm) reboot required
– sometimes lags while switch on/off wlan
– one unwanted reboot during night, no idea what had triggered that.
Already very comfortable, fast, stable, smooth and absolute usefull and recommended for daily usage! No fc’s, no abnoralities obeyed.
All issues reported are less or more cosmetical and probably need fine tuning only, except front camera saving pics/video.

Quem tiver problemas com trebuchet, como eu tive, na versão do dia 04/06 é só ir em “Configurações do sistema” “Aplicativos” “Todos” achar o Trebuchet e limpar dados e cache (deixe o padrão). Vai sumir os icones do dock, mas é só colocar de novo.

Hoje eu já estou usando a ROM do dia 23, cyanogenmod. A detalhe o meu tab é um p1000l, mas devido o trabalho do alroger filho e humberos já e possível atualizar seu tab com a rom p1000 americano. Galera rom e muito leve.

junho 24th, 2013 at 10:22 pmO seu P1000l continua a ser o P1000l com o Kernel do P1000l o script de atualização é que sabe qual o modelo, no caso dele não atualizar corretamente o Alroger posta no início do post os kerneis específicos de cada modelo para a pessoa instalar manualmente via heimdall. Ok ? Se você colocasse um kernel “p1000 americano” do cyanogenmod ou de outro desenvolvedor seu P1000l no mínimo ficaria sem o touch. Dá uma olhadinha no início do post do Alroger ele resume tudinho. E a rom do Alroger tem muita coisa que as nights não tem, atualmente a melhor rom que existe para os P1000, não se impressione com a data, nem sempre tem grandes mudanças todo dia. Abraços e muito legal você compartilhar as novidades com o pessoal.

junho 27th, 2013 at 2:56 pmInstalei a última do Alroger e tá tudo ok (tenho um P1000L). Tanto com o android em funcionamento como no TRWP em modo recovery mandando montar a USB. Tá funcionando inclusive os drives para OTG/Host que a muito tempo eu não testava porque não funcionava. Então o problema deve ser somente no modelo do seu amigo.
Comigo tudo ok tbém. P1000l.

I Installed the HumberOS Android 2.3 time ago but it´s being too slow and I rally want to install the new one. If someone is able to guide me with a 1,2,3 guide please, will be great. Explain the process like if I have 10 years old
